ARTIST STATEMENT

My work generally focuses on relationships.  Early work was about my relationship to place through landscape. After becoming a husband and father my work centered on family dynamics.  Currently my work focuses on the broader issues of home and belonging.

I like to work in color--but love also to work with black and white images. My work is always from my head, in my studio, and has to do with what interests me in the moment.
